HR Generalist / Talent Management, Recruiter / Talent Acquisition, HRIS Specialist
Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Assistant will provide high-level clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Manager and the Human Resources department's daily operations, such as, but not limited to: recruitment, employee records, onboarding, and company events organized by HR.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Recruitment Support: post job openings, organize resumes, and schedule candidate interviews
- Onboarding & Orientation: coordinate HR onboarding & orientations, prepare new hire paperwork, collect new hires' documents
- Records Administration: printing, copying, filing, storing, HR records in either physical or digital form
- Timekeeping: track attendance and attendance line, collect PTO/UPTO's requests and Missed Punches to properly send to Payroll for processing, collect any special pay or travel forms to send to Payroll for processing
- Benefits: assist the HR Manager with benefits enrollments and simple employee inquiries
- Training & Development: assist HR Manager in coordinating HR or safety trainings and/or other department trainings, if required
- Employee Communication:
Answer basic daily personnel questions and direct complex issues to HR Manager - Uniforms Inventory: maintain and coordinate employees' uniforms
- Company events: coordinate and assist HR Manager with company events, such as Birthdays, Anniversaries, Holidays, etc.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
- Consistently follows and adheres to all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP's).
- Other job HR related duties as assigned.
- Education requirement: minimum of a High School Diploma or an Associate degree in HR or business administration.
- HR experience requirement: minimum of one (1) year as HR Assistant
- Medium to Advanced level in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) databases, such as Paylocity, ADP, Paycor, Kronos, or Quick Books, etc.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Ability to communicate ideas and issues effectively with other team members and management in English and Spanish
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion with the company, HR, and employees' data and information
- Comfortable working in an accessible area with constant interruptions
- Ability to multitask

This position works mostly in a weather-controlled area, with time to time going to a non-air-conditioned/heated warehouse setting. Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, noise, and fumes.
