What will you be doing?Power Platform Developer supporting the Government Services team to modernize mission‑critical applications for the U.S. Department of State. Evaluate existing .NET and SharePoint apps, reimagine them through Power Platform, and guide users toward intuitive, future‑ready solutions.
Responsibilities- Assess and strategize modernization paths for legacy .NET and SharePoint applications.
- Design and develop end‑to‑end Power Apps and Power Automate workflows using Dataverse, M365, and external data sources.
- Build quick, functional proofs of concept that showcase low‑code innovation.
- Support business users and citizen developers in extending, maintaining, and optimizing applications.
- Produce clear documentation and deliver hands‑on training to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Lead by example to ensure builds follow scalable architecture, strong UX/UI design, data governance, and security compliance.
- 5+ years in IT solution development, including 2+ years focused on Power Platform.
- Proven experience modernizing legacy applications and integrating APIs or enterprise data sources.
- Deep knowledge of Power Fx, Dataverse schema design, and solution architecture.
- Strong mentoring and communication skills, comfortable coaching users through app maintenance.
- Familiarity with M365, Power BI, and basic scripting (Power Shell, JavaScript).
- Must have an active Secret clearance.

- Experience supporting federal or high‑compliance environments.
- Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.

- Good eye for clean, intuitive UX/UI design.

Estimated base pay range: $ to $ annually. Actual salary will be based on location, experience, skill set, performance, and business needs. Variable incentive compensation may also be available.
