About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Guidewire Claim Center Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on expertise in Guidewire Claim Center configuration and integration, and will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing P&C insurance claims solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and customize Guidewire Claim Center solutions
- Lead Claim Center configuration using Gosu (PCF, rules, workflows)
- Develop and maintain integrations using Web Services (SOAP/REST) and messaging
- Perform data model extensions and configuration enhancements
- Participate in requirements analysis and solution design discussions
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices
- Support system upgrades, patches, and production issues
- Collaborate with business, QA, and Dev Ops teams in a remote setup
- 6+ years of overall experience in software development
- Strong hands‑on experience with Guidewire Claim Center
- Expertise in Gosu, PCF, rules, and configuration
- Experience with Claim Center integration frameworks
- Good understanding of P&C insurance – Claims domain
- Experience with Guidewire Studio and GUnit
- Knowledge of Guidewire data model and extension concepts
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Guidewire certification (Claim Center Developer)
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud (GWCP)
- Exposure to Dev Ops / CI-CD pipelines
- Experience with Policy Center or Billing Center
- Strong SQL and database knowledge
- Hands‑on experience in Guidewire Claim Center configuration.
- Strong knowledge of Guidewire applications’ design and architecture.
- Working knowledge of Policy Center, Billing Center, and Contact Manager.
- Proficiency in GOSU, Guidewire Event & Rules Framework, and Guidewire Web Services.
- Solid understanding of XML & JSON formats, and build tools like ANT, Maven, and Gradle.
- Strong communication and team‑building skills.
- Ability to coach team members and assist in issue resolution.
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle using Agile methodology.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
