Network Administrator
We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure our ISP network infrastructure. This role includes configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting systems to ensure reliable, high-performance internet services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in networking, routing, and security, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Maintain and optimize the ISP’s core and access network, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance, ensuring uptime, reliability, and minimal latency for customers.
- Configure and maintain IP addressing, VLANs, and network security settings.
- Conduct regular network audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement improvements.
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to internet connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
- Implement and maintain network security policies to protect against cyber threats, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and DDoS mitigation.
- Monitor for unauthorized access, network breaches, or unusual traffic patterns.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in planning and deploying new network infrastructure, including fiber, fixed wireless.
- Research and recommend improvements to network design, hardware, and software.
- Test and deploy firmware/software updates to improve performance and security.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications (preferred): CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent networking certifications.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, and QoS.
- Experience with network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with security best practices, firewall configurations, and DDoS mitigation.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Working knowledge of fiber optic and wireless broadband technologies.
- Experience with VoIP, IPTV, and cloud-based networking solutions.
- General knowledge of PSTN network- SIP, GR303, H248, MGCP and VMware
- One year of telecommunications experience preferred
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Travel & Working HoursMay require occasional travel to other plant locations or vendor sites.
Must be able to work outside of standard business hours as needed to address urgent issues or complete projects.
