Position Overview
Business Development Manager – Cloud & Data Center Solutions
Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the complete sales lifecycle, and driving revenue growth through cloud services, data center solutions, and managed services. The role requires close coordination with pre‑sales and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions across multiple industry verticals.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, develop, and drive new business opportunities across key industry verticals including BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Government, Education, and others
- Engage with customers to understand business requirements and propose customized system integration solutions, including:
- Data center solutions
- Cloud offerings (IaaS, SaaS, Backup‑as‑a‑Service)
- Colocation and managed services
- IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity solutions
- Manage the end‑to‑end sales cycle from lead generation and proposal preparation to negotiation, deal closure, and post‑sales coordination
- Collaborate closely with pre‑sales engineers, solution architects, project managers, and technical teams to design optimal solutions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and long‑term partnerships
- Stay updated with latest IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and competitor offerings
- Track sales performance through CRM tools, including pipeline management, forecasting, and KPI reporting as per organizational policy
- Operate as a target‑driven sales professional, contributing directly to revenue growth and profitability as a business profit center
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Cloud Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in IT solution sales, preferably in:
- Cloud services
- Data center solutions
- Managed services
- Strong preference for candidates with proven experience in selling and closing:
- IaaS, SaaS, and Backup‑as‑a‑Service
- Colocation services
- Good understanding of:
- IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networking)
- Cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Basic knowledge of data center technologies and cybersecurity
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Highly self‑motivated, independent, and target‑oriented
