Overview
Language Services Associates is looking for American Sign Language interpreters in the Olathe, KS area. As a member of LSA’s network of independently contracted interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments.
Responsibilities- Provide superior customer service
- Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
- Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
- Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
- Access to personal or public transport
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- RID certification
- State interpreting licensure (as applicable)
- Fluency in English and American Sign Language
