AboutThe Role
The Director of Sales Development is a senior leadership role responsible for designing, executing, and scaling sales training and development across all Ridgeline Roofing & Restoration locations and acquired companies. This position requires a highly strategic yet hands‑on leader who can drive consistency, elevate performance, and build a best‑in‑class sales organization.
This role involves extensive travel (approximately 75%) and direct engagement with sales teams in the field. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in sales leadership, rep development, and proven success training teams in door‑to‑door sales and one‑call closing, while also partnering closely with executive leadership to support company‑wide growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategy, development, and execution of sales training programs across all locations and acquisitions
- Establish standardized sales processes, methodologies, and performance expectations company‑wide
- Coach, mentor, and develop sales leaders and top‑performing representatives
- Conduct in‑field coaching, ride‑alongs, and leadership evaluations
- Drive adoption of door‑knocking and one‑call close best practices
- Identify performance gaps and implement scalable training solutions
- Partner with executive leadership on sales strategy, forecasting, and growth initiatives
- Support sales onboarding and post‑acquisition integration to ensure alignment and consistency
- Travel extensively to reinforce culture, accountability, and performance standards
- Senior‑level leadership experience in sales development, sales training, or sales operations
- Proven track record building and scaling high‑performing sales teams
- Extensive experience training door‑to‑door sales teams and one‑call closing methodologies
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional coaching, communication, and leadership skills
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75%
- Must pass a background check and have a passing Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Highly organized, results‑driven, and professional in demeanor and appearance
