Assist the Manager, Distribution and Logistics to monitor and improve Parts Distribution, and Logistics activities at the corporate level. Manage the Parts shortage and damage claims; address shortage, and damage issues with vendors. Assist in driving continuous improvement solutions and overall efficiency for all Distribution activity, while driving the alignment of all Division Distribution locations. Assist the Director of Product Resources as assigned, with particular emphasis on Department Projects.

This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:

• Ensure accurate credits are applied per KTC guidelines.
• Assists Manager, Distribution and Logistics to assure that receipts and dealer shipments are processed timely, correctly, and efficiently in order to prevent receipt backlog, inventory discrepancies, and avoid costly shipping errors.
• Receive/processes OS&D, stolen and damaged equipment, and transportation freight claims;
  Collaborates with accounting to ensure proper accounting for settlement checks.
• Oversee the vendor charge-back program to ensure optimum funds are retrieved.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate credits are applied.
• Assist Manager Distribution and Logistics to coordinate stop shipment “recall/rework” projects on warehouse inventory.
• Create and maintain monthly performance charts, graphs, KPI’s and data (SAP, MS Excel, and web-based reporting tools).
• Work directly with all distribution centers to achieve on-time performance targets. Develop and maintain KPI measurements. Support all warehouse efficiency and improvement projects per corporate guidelines.
• Manage company wide fleet of fork-lift inventory. Monitor maintenance records on all company fork-lifts. Determine replacement cycles.
• Responsible to learn all responsibilities of Assistant Manager, Logistics to be available to support and act as a back-up for those tasks as may be required from time to time.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Business related major preferred.
• In lieu of a degree at least 5 years of Warehouse Management experience required.
• With a degree at least 3 years’ of Warehouse Management experience required.
