PositionProject Manager – National Accounts Construction team. Located on‑site at our corporate headquarters in Olathe, KS.
Job Responsibilities- Review project plans and specifications to determine materials needed, order materials, operate within customer‑specified budget parameters, and work with outside vendors to coordinate schedules and installs.
- Direct and coordinate activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and within the budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and clients and provide updates as needed.
- Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers, effectively communicating the technical findings of technicians to clients and customers.
- Master project coordination and problem‑solving by using good judgment and forecasting.
- Follow administrative procedures and processes for the management of projects on time and under budget.
- Monitor and review all projects to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met.
- Track submittals and job materials.
- Determine innovative solutions to any/all problems concerning the execution of jobs.
- Help maintain job files by gathering information to ensure projects are completed and billed accurately.
- Work with strategic partners and internal service teams to establish and adhere to service level agreements.
- Maintain and promote a positive attitude toward customers and fellow employees regardless of circumstances.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑focused environment.
- Mechanically minded or inclined.
- Ability to work well independently and as a team player.
- Strong mathematical ability; must verify bids for accuracy.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, customer relations, and problem‑solving skills.
