Fire/Water Restoration Supervisor

We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Fire/Water Restoration Supervisor to oversee restoration projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water and/or fire damage restoration, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The Water/Fire Restoration Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising restoration efforts, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of water and fire damage restoration projects.
  • Lead and manage a team of restoration technicians, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and according to company standards.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to determine the extent of damage and develop restoration plans.
  • Oversee the mitigation and restoration process, including water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and smoke/odor removal.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders throughout the restoration process.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or obstacles, and implement solutions to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Provide training and mentorship to restoration technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in water and/or fire damage restoration required.
  • IICRC certification in water damage restoration and/or fire and smoke restoration preferred.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organization and detail oriented skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

This is a full-time position with standard hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, along with on-call responsibilities. During periods of high demand, extended hours and additional workdays may be necessary to meet customer needs. This role often requires working more than 8 hours a day, including some evenings and weekends. A weekend on-call bonus, premium pay for extended hours, and additional compensation for high-volume or "storm mode" periods are provided.

Travel is primarily local, though occasional out-of-area and overnight travel may be required. Compensation: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
