Department Administration Manager – Olathe, KS
This role will provide leadership for employees and oversee all departmental activities. A bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience are preferred. Standard work hours:
Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am‑5:00 pm, with additional hours as needed.
- Provide leadership, including performance quality monitoring, process improvement, and employee development.
- Manage daily activities within the department’s realm of responsibilities – billing, sales, order entries, and more.
- Conduct employee performance reviews, document performance issues, and provide necessary counseling with targeted improvement action plans.
- Coordinate with other managers to schedule staff for all shifts.
- Establish work plans with staff, assigning duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Offer technical advice and troubleshooting assistance when needed.
- Foster a cooperative working climate that maximizes employee morale and productivity while maintaining quality customer service.
- Provide coaching, call support, and balanced feedback to associates promptly.
- Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (required: minimum of two years of related experience or equivalent education and experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
- Excellent time–management skills with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize work; sense of urgency is required.
- Professional representation of the company with strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
