Supervisor Admissions

Full Time – Olathe, KS, US

Salary: $52,000.00 Annually

Join our team as an Admissions Supervisor – Evenings!

The Supervisor of Admissions provides supervision and consultation to the Admissions team in order to help locate appropriate placements for children in need.

Hybrid work schedule: varies based on in‑person workload. 3–5 days in office required. Rotating on‑call schedule.

Education and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • One year of related experience
  • Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs, and Outlook email
  • Preferred skills
  • BSRB Licensure preferred

Licensure &

Certifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required
  • All KVC Kansas employees must be at least 21 years of age

What you will do:

  • Support a safe, family‑centered, evidence‑based child welfare system in Kansas
  • Implement program service plans and achieve departmental goals
  • Supervise, assign work and evaluate staff performance
  • Monitor the quality and timeliness of documentation and reports
  • Train staff on policies and ensure compliance with procedures
  • Serve as the on‑call supervisor during emergencies
  • Facilitate organizational training as assigned
  • Represent the organization at external meetings
  • Attend internal meetings as assigned
  • Oversee staff training and ensure completion of required annual training
  • Monitor contract compliance and improve performance outcomes
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with DCF, courts and community partners
  • Oversee placement services for youth, foster families and providers
  • Foster positive relationships with placement providers
