Join our team as an Admissions Supervisor – Evenings!
The Supervisor of Admissions provides supervision and consultation to the Admissions team in order to help locate appropriate placements for children in need.
Hybrid work schedule: varies based on in‑person workload. 3–5 days in office required. Rotating on‑call schedule.
Education and experience requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- One year of related experience
- Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs, and Outlook email
- Preferred skills
- BSRB Licensure preferred
Licensure &
Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required
- All KVC Kansas employees must be at least 21 years of age
What you will do:
- Support a safe, family‑centered, evidence‑based child welfare system in Kansas
- Implement program service plans and achieve departmental goals
- Supervise, assign work and evaluate staff performance
- Monitor the quality and timeliness of documentation and reports
- Train staff on policies and ensure compliance with procedures
- Serve as the on‑call supervisor during emergencies
- Facilitate organizational training as assigned
- Represent the organization at external meetings
- Attend internal meetings as assigned
- Oversee staff training and ensure completion of required annual training
- Monitor contract compliance and improve performance outcomes
- Maintain collaborative relationships with DCF, courts and community partners
- Oversee placement services for youth, foster families and providers
- Foster positive relationships with placement providers
