Install Department Manager – Olathe, Kansas
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the install department.
- Plan, manage, and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Evaluate workload and manpower to fulfill customer commitments in a cost‑effective way.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, under budget, and to customer satisfaction.
- Review monthly financial and operational reports, collaborating with front‑line managers to create action plans for improvement.
- Enhance the performance of the field team through regular performance reviews.
- Assist with hiring, training, and developing new team members.
- Take on other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 3-5 years of management experience is preferred; ideally supervisory or managerial experience in a company that services or installs new equipment/products.
- Capable of managing and developing skilled field technicians/installers and office staff, working together to provide exceptional service while minimizing labor costs and maximizing profits.
- Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a good mechanical aptitude are a must.
- A valid Driver’s License is required.
