What You’ll Do
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
    • Analyze and apply information from multiple sources.
    • Monitor progress and results.

  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply them in executing business processes and practices.

    • Assist management with correcting ethical and compliance issues.
  • Implement production schedules that maintain adequate inventory levels, maximize production efficiencies, and meet customer fulfillment requirements by collaborating with plant leadership.
    • Partner with the Site Sr. Director, Director of Operations, Sr. Maintenance Manager, Shift Managers, and Supervisors.
    • Develop weekly production plans to meet utilization goals and high service levels.
    • Ensure compliance with sanitation and maintenance schedules.
    • Promote cost‑effective operations.
    • Work with Farm Supply Chain and optimization teams to determine supply and sales outlooks.
    • Develop production plans based on sales forecasts.
  • Perform daily schedule plan analysis to ensure accurate production and sufficient inventory.
    • Conduct process analysis for each SKU to expedite production based on priorities, specifications, capacity, and equipment availability.
    • Review and analyze weekly performance and inventory levels of products and raw materials.
    • Audit and track trays and pallets and perform inventory reconciliation.
    • Support sales forecast analysis related to capacity planning and material requirements.
    • Recommend forecast adjustments when needed.
    • Analyze past performance to identify inventory‑management improvement opportunities.
    • Communicate needs for expedited production or raw materials to management and suppliers.
  • Develop and implement scheduling and run strategies to support material usage and efficiency goals.
    • Ensure production quality and analyze incoming data from plant leadership.
    • Communicate issues and discrepancies to teams and leadership.
    • Report changes (e.g., shortages, overages, expedites) to Site leadership and Home Office teams.
    • Create and communicate schedules for processing and raw‑material receiving.
    • Utilize systems such as SAP, DSI, Essbase, Dashboard, GRS, and Microsoft tools.
    • Manage and track inventory cycle time and reusable container and pallet status.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to resolve inventory issues and proactively address constraints.
    • Provide backup coverage in critical areas.
    • Drive continuous improvement in throughput, cycle time, and production quality.
  • Manage raw‑milk scheduling for the dairy manufacturing plant using the Walmart Milk Management System.
    • Align deliveries with production plans and store demand.
    • Coordinate with plant operations, farms, cooperatives, and haulers.
    • Maintain a stable flow of raw‑milk supply.
    • Issue purchase orders and complete financial system processes.
  • Oversee the flow of raw materials within the manufacturing environment.
    • Manage procurement, storage, dispensing, and inventory tracking.
    • Ensure continuous and cost‑effective operations.
    • Work closely with production, accounting, and other departments to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Drive execution of business plans and projects by:
    • Identifying customer and operational needs.
    • Developing and communicating business plans and priorities.
    • Removing barriers and providing resources.
    • Establishing performance standards and measuring progress.
    • Adjusting performance and developing contingency plans.
    • Demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by:
    • Selecting, training, and mentoring team members.
    • Assigning duties and building a team‑based work environment.
    • Setting expectations and conducting performance evaluations.
    • Providing recognition, rewards, and coaching.
    • Promoting a culture of belonging.
