Filling Operator

Job Summary

Responsible for cleaning, loading all commodities, startup activities, in‑process checks, and operating the batch normally. Tasks also include general upkeep, size change overs, line setup, and minor maintenance. All activities are governed by strict procedures and regulations and require close supervision from the Production Supervisor. Filling Operators I must complete all required training, follow Standard Operating Procedures, Batch Records, Protocols, and be familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Hourly Range: $13.61 – $20.05.

• Cleaning, loading all commodities, startup activities, and normal batch operation.
• May perform minor maintenance and preventative maintenance of production lines.
• Use cleanroom behavior technique in classified areas to minimize product contamination.
• Learn and master the setup of filling equipment; operate and troubleshoot a fully integrated Bag Making Filling Machine (IBFM), Robot Cell Overwrap equipment (RCO), and Overwrap Machine in a cleanroom environment to ensure minimal downtime.
• Perform peer-to-peer batch record documentation review throughout the shift to ensure accuracy and compliance with Good Documentation Practice standards.
• Operate advanced HMI applications.
• Document work accurately and in a timely manner in the batch record and/or logbooks.
• Adhere to SOPs, cGMP, and safety requirements.
• Perform “shadow” training of Filling Operators II and III.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Ensure compliance with company documents, programs, and activities related to Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems.
