Materials Handler

* Job Description:

* ** Essential Duties:*
* + Supply parts to Scrubs production area via mobile equipment, by hand and/or by other means.

+ Must be forklift qualified.

+ Responsible for the safe conduct and operation of Scrubs line equipment.

+ Able to account for all inbound material.

+ Responsible for all trash removal and removal of hazardous material wastes.

+ Flexible and adaptable to an ever changing production environment.

+ Able to maintain workflow by being aware of materials required days in advance.

+ Must maintain warehouse (finished goods, non-inventory items)

+ Maintain compliance with relevant FDA regulations

+ Able to comprehend the Kan Ban system and order raw materials.

+ Responsible for adherence to all housekeeping standards for this department.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

** Education & Expereince:*
* + High School or GED preferred, not required.

+ One year related manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

** Work Environment:*
* + Work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a safe work place in a Just-In
-Time environment.

+ Other forklift traffic/stop signs/small areas of maneuverability.

+ Drive forklift with caution, and watch for pedestrians.
