Production Team Lead

The Production Lead manages a production team and works proactively to ensure company objectives are met in a timely manner. The position requires effective communication skills and candidates must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.

Location: Olathe, KS
Salary: $21 - $30 /hour (starting pay is based on experience and shift)

• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are achieved.
• Coach and support employees.
• Monitor housekeeping and correct safety issues.
• Ensure compliance to environmental, productivity, quality, and health & safety standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare and adhere to department budget.
• Enforce policies and procedures and apply disciplinary action as needed.
• Prepare and maintain production reports and records taking corrective action when necessary.
• Coordinate departmental maintenance and engineering needs.
• Responsible for inventory analysis.
• Order and purchase necessary equipment or materials for assembly or production.
