• Promotes a safe work environment by ensuring associates utilize proper safety equipment.
• Maintains work areas—for example, keeping floors free of debris, ensuring equipment is operational and clean, and removing hazards.
• Requests materials, supplies, parts, and repair services as needed.
• Manages the daily operation of the production area by planning and establishing work schedules and assignments.
• Monitors and evaluates operations, programs, processes, and practices for quality and effectiveness.
• Inspects materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
• Assists in production sequence planning to meet production goals and provide superior customer service.
• Ensures the timely resolution of associate performance concerns.
• Completes and analyzes departmental reports.
• Manages the continuous improvement (Lean) culture by documenting and implementing new and improved processes.
• Participates in new-hire and ongoing associate training.
• Provides process improvement guidance related to waste control, quality management, and process effectiveness.
• Coordinates, completes, and oversees job‑related activities and assignments by:
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs
  • Identifying and communicating goals and objectives

• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports the company’s mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by:
  • Implementing related action plans
  • Utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy
  • Providing direction and guidance in executing business processes and practices

• 2 years’ supervisory experience in a related environment (for example, logistics / supply chain, dairy plant, food processing, manufacturing).
• 2 years’ experience in clerical‑related responsibilities (for example, filing, data entry) and computer applications (for example, email, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Visio).

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, food science or related area.
• Packaging experience within a related environment (for example, dairy production, food processing, and manufacturing).
• Supervisory experience in a dairy plant, food processing or manufacturing environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 - $98,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and stock options.
