Job Summary
Position:
Cooling Tower Manufacturing Associate
Location:
1200 W. Marley Rd., Olathe, KS 66061 Walk-in applications accepted Monday through Friday.
1st
Shift: 5:30 am – 2:00 pm (daily and weekend overtime as needed)
2nd Shift: 4:30 pm – 1:00 am (daily and weekend overtime as needed)
Pay Rate: $25.27 per hour
Plus Shift Differential for 2nd Shift: $2.00 per hour

The position will be responsible for working in the cooling tower manufacturing process. The incumbent may work in various areas, assume additional duties as assigned, work in any station or operation, and must be detail-oriented, able to follow instructions well, and work well in a team atmosphere.
Responsibilities- Pull correct material for the job duty being performed
- Clean parts using the correct cleaning procedures
- Apply correct sealant onto parts
- Apply thread guard where appropriate
- Assemble designated parts correctly using a drill, impact gun, and wrenches
- Operate a man lift, scissor lift, overhead crane, hoist, and/or forklift after company certification is obtained
- Use tools such as wrenches, impact guns, utility knife, drift pins, sealant tape, glue, staple gun, nail gun, and other required tools/equipment safely and effectively
- Pick and pack parts for customer orders proficiently and safely
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Prior experience in a manufacturing operation preferred, but not required
- Adapt to change and adjust work at appropriate times to support the assembly process
- Operate man lift and ladders safely and efficiently
- Operate impact gun and torque wrench
- Use other hand tools (both manual and pneumatic) correctly and safely
- Apply shop mathematics to solve problems
- Plan work and select proper tools
- Read a tape measure in metric and imperial units
- Compare and determine differences in size, shape, and form of objects accurately
- Work within precise limits and/or standards of accuracy
- Interpret build orders and engineering drawings correctly
- Choose and apply appropriate types of tape and glue
- Use air bearings, overhead crane, and air float safely and effectively
- Multi-task
- Work well with others, in a fast‑paced environment, and communicate effectively
- Follow and understand directions
- Lifting up to 50 pounds; 50+ pounds with assistance
- Sitting, standing, walking, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, crawling, climbing, twisting, reaching, working at heights, and using a ladder as required
- Use both hands overhead
- Perform repetitive motions
- Work in a plant environment with potential exposure to all types of weather, including excessive heat, excessive cold, and excessive noise
