Position Summary:

The Production Material Handler supports production operations by moving materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the facility. This role is responsible for operating the product loading station, maintaining inventory accuracy, staging finished goods for shipment, and ensuring materials are available where needed to support production.
 Core Responsibilities
 Operate the can loading station and monitor finished goods inventory
 Stage, distribute, and accurately count finished products for shipment
 Deliver production materials and supplies to designated work areas
 Maintain organized stock and storage areas
 Accurately track inventory by labeling, identifying, and recording material locations; report shortages as needed
 Pull and verify materials and supplies according to production orders
 Replenish production areas with materials and supplies to maintain workflow
 Record material movements, deliveries, and inventory locations
 Return finished goods and materials to warehouse staging areas, verify quantities, lot numbers, and product codes
 Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment
 Follow all company safety policies and procedures
 Read, write, and interpret work-related information and documentation
 Qualifications / Requirements
 High school diploma or GED
 Must be able to work in a production environment with exposure to temperature extremes, chemicals, fumes, dust, noise, and vibration for extended periods.
 Prior manufacturing experience (preferred)
 Basic inventory control knowledge
 Basic math and data entry skills
 Strong communication skills
 Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment with a focus on continual process improvement
 Ability to prioritize and complete tasks on time
 Ability to lift and move heavy materials (50+ lbs), manually or with assistive equipment
 Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
 Reliable attendance and punctuality; willing to work overtime as needed
