Position: Travel Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Olathe, KS

Schedule & Shift Details:

• Night
  
  Shifts:
  
  7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Full-time hours; every third weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• No on-call; holiday coverage as needed

Qualifications:

• BSN preferred (ADN accepted with a commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years)
• Valid Kansas RN license
• Minimum 1 year of RN hospital experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• TR Band experience necessary

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in a telemetry or cardiac care setting
• Comfort with GE heart monitors, Masimo vital sign machines, and Stryker beds

Responsibilities:

• Care for a primarily acute cardiac patient population, including post-invasive procedures and patients with conditions like chest pain, sepsis, or ETOH withdrawal
• Participate in titration and administration of cardiac medications (tikosyn/Sotalol)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient care
• Document patient status and interventions accurately and timely
