Job Description

We are seeking an RN or LPN - Stormont Vail West Adult & Pediatrics to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients.

$5/Hr Weekend & $5/Hr Night Differential! Potential to make an extra $10/Hr!!

Responsibilities
  • Care for individuals across the life span who present with physical, emotional, or psychological alterations of health.
  • Provide basic patient care and treatment.
  • Psychiatric nurses have adapted nursing process to include components of de‑escalation skills, maintaining safety, assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of human responses when caring for patients.
  • Educate and update patients on medical treatments.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LSBN) – A multistate license with the ability to practice within the State of Kansas is also accepted. Required.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) – A multistate license with the ability to practice within the State of Kansas is also accepted. Required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – Must have within 90 days of hire.
  • RQI, CPR or ACLS certifications may be required in lieu of or in addition to BLS depending on department.
What you will do
  • Collects pertinent data and information relative to the patient, situation, or setting.
  • Analyzes assessment data to determine actual or potential problems, and issues.
  • Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation.
  • Develops a collaborative plan encompassing strategies to achieve expected outcomes.
  • Implements identified plan through coordination of care and employs strategies to promote health and wellness.
  • Evaluates progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
