Kansas City Area Post-acute Care Practice
Team Health is seeking a quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in the Kansas City, Kansas, area. This is a full-time opportunity (5 days/week) focusing on skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential. Compensation is fee for service with an estimated annual range of $133,642 to $148,000 and no cap on productivity income potential.
In this role, you’ll provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, and build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.

Our comprehensive clinical and operational leadership team will support your transition into our medical practice with a comprehensive 3-month onboarding program along with a dedicated clinical field mentor and support from industry leading clinical experts in post-acute medicine. Key Responsibilities- Cardiac consulting and follow-up care to patients in skilled nursing facilities
- Analyze pathophysiology for cardiovascular disease processes
- Interpret stress and EKG tests
- Order and interpret lab results
- Prescribe and monitor medications
- Manage patients with cardiac defibrillators and pacemakers
- Current NP or PA license in Kansas and Missouri and DEA registration
- At least 2 years of experience in cardiology
- Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook
- No night or weekend call with post-acute cardiology positions
