• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable; onboarding including Epic training and leadership orientation

• Deliver direct nursing care to ED patients, including triage, assessment, monitoring, and intervention
• Interpret and respond to changes in patient condition; administer medications and therapies per physician orders
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff; assist with procedures and patient transfers
• Document patient care, assessments, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic)
• Manage inpatient boarders per unit protocol when necessary; maintain patient safety, comfort, and throughput
• Communicate with patients and families; participate in discharge planning and patient education

• Active RN license in Kansas or Multistate license accepted
• BLS, ACLS, PALS; NIHSS and Conscious Sedation Competency
• TNCC preferred
• Experience:
  
  minimum 1 year ED experience within the last 12 months; 2 years ED experience preferred
• Ability to work in an ED setting; not floating to other units
• Weekend shifts up to 3 per pay period and holiday coverage as needed per unit requirements

• Orientation: 8 hours non-billable
• Onboarding includes Epic training and targeted ED leadership orientation
• Local onboarding plan with campus-based orientation and electronic health record training
• Dedicated assignment support via an account manager
• Regular schedule communication and dependable travel support throughout the assignment
