Position: LPN or RN - FT Day - Hoeger House - Post Acute Care

Registered Nurse (RN)

Sanford Health seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide individualized nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility. The RN will collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process.

Work Shift:

12‑hour day shift (United States). Scheduled weekly hours: 36. Compensation: $26.00–$48.00 per hour (LPN: $26.00–$36.00, RN: $35.00–$48.00). No union position. Sign‑on bonuses available for full‑time LPNs and RNs. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, health savings account, and a company‑matched 401(k) retirement plan.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to develop and execute care plans.
  • Perform comprehensive resident assessments and deliver preventive, maintenance, diagnostic, and therapeutic care.
  • Coordinate care, educate residents, and implement various nursing interventions.
  • Serve as charge nurse when assigned and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope of practice.
  • Provide guidance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolve care and service concerns.
  • Practice within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act, state licensing regulations, and the American Nurses Association standards.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
  • Current, unencumbered RN license with the state board where practice occurs; multistate licensure acceptable under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications.
