The Admission/Float RN reports to a Kansas City Hospice Team Manager. The role includes providing informational visits and hospice admissions, and/or making visits as needed to support the IDT in delivering care to patients and families. While based in Overland Park, KS, the position is expected to develop competence and work across the organization as needed.
Qualifications- Current Kansas and Missouri RN license
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work autonomously
- Minimum of one year experience caring for actively dying patients (preferred)
- Home health or hospice experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Licensed drivers with reliable transportation and auto insurance
- CPR certification required
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
