The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a full-time, on-site role based in Olathe, KS. The CNA provides direct resident care, including assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility, while promoting dignity and comfort. Daily responsibilities include taking and recording vital signs, reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff, and supporting nurses with treatments and procedures as directed. The CNA helps maintain a clean and safe environment, follows infection control and safety protocols, and adheres to care plans and facility policies.

The role also involves documenting care accurately, supporting residents’ emotional well-being, and communicating effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Kansas and compliance with all state regulatory requirements.
• Foundational patient care skills, including assistance with activities of daily living, safe transfer and mobility techniques, and basic comfort measures.
• Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs, observe and report changes in condition, and follow established care plans and nursing directions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact respectfully with residents, families, and team members, including clear documentation and reporting.
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and commitment to person-centered care, including empathy, patience, and respect for diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of infection control, safety procedures, and proper hygiene practices in a hospital and rehabilitation setting.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, perform moderate physical tasks such as lifting and repositioning residents, and use equipment safely.
• Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital settings is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training is essential.
