Job Description:
Registered Nurse in Telemetry unit responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients in a cardiac unit.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient's cardiac status and respond to cardiac alerts.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed.
- Document patient care accurately and timely using EPIC EMR.
- Float to all acute care units as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience, experience with TR Bands, Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem, and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process.
- KS RN license & BLS certification required.
- Weekend rotation every other required; must be available for Labor Day.
- Floating to all acute care units required.
