What You'll Do
- Provide critical care to a diverse mix of neuro, spine, cardiac, medical, and surgical patients
- Manage complex cases involving balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella devices, and open-heart procedures (especially overnight shifts)
- Draw labs, insert PICC lines, and conduct own Vascular Access procedures as needed
- Respond promptly to patient codes and emergencies
- Float across ICU, PCU, Med/Surg, Tele, and ED units based on staffing needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Support the unit's operations by handling consults and direct patient care
What You Need
- Required:
KS RN license or Compact license, BLS, ACLS, NIHF, 2+ years ICU experience, familiarity with critical devices and procedures - Preferred:
Experience with open heart, PICC insertion, intubation, and complex critical care management
