Registered Nurse – Critical Care
12-hour Night shifts; , three shifts per week.
Contract length: 14 weeks; guaranteed hours: based on scheduled shifts.
Current RN license.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department.
Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing labs.
Ability to perform without vascular access team support.
Familiarity with calling own consults and conducting codes.
Open-heart experience, especially with pacer wires, preferred.
Provide high-quality patient care in critical care settings.
Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatments.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
Participate in emergency response situations as needed.
Travelers must work one holiday from each holiday group (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) and are expected to float to ICU and all inpatient units.
