Registered Nurse - Telemetry | Olathe, Kansas

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry nursing experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythms
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (through AHA)
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills
• Strong critical thinking and assessment abilities
• Adaptable to dynamic work environments

Responsibilities:

• Monitor multiple cardiac patients, promptly recognizing and responding to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and accuracy
• Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and families to devise and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on monitoring equipment and cardiac care instructions
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes with thoroughness and attention to detail
• Uphold infection prevention, patient privacy, and safety protocols at all times
• Participate in shift hand-offs and multidisciplinary meetings to ensure continuity of care

$1,864 - $2,039/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
