Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within an acute care environment.

Scheduled Details:

• Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Schedule:
  
  3 shifts per week

Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 18 months of experience within a hospital setting, with a focus on Orthopedic and Spine care.

License/Certification Requirements:

• Valid RN License in Kansas or a Compact RN License
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Floating Requirements:
The selected candidate will be required to float to all acute care units as needed.

Weekend Requirements:
Availability to work every other weekend is required.

Holiday Requirement:
Traveling nurses must be prepared to work one holiday from each designated holiday group:

• Thanksgiving Day or the Day after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve or Christmas Day
• New Year's Eve or New Year's Day

Additional Information:

• This is a nicotine-free facility.
• An orientation period of 8 hours is mandatory, which is non-billable.
• Current Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in use is EPIC.
• Pay periods are bi-weekly.
• The client reserves the right to cancel one shift every two weeks at no cost to the client and no pay to the employee, with a minimum notice of 2 hours via the Smart Square app.

Orientation Requirements:

• Days 1-2 at a designated campus orientation.
• Day 3:
  Olathe orientation and Director of Nursing training.
• Day 4:
  Continuing Director of Nursing training.
• Day 5:
  Virtual training on the EPIC system.

Credentialing Expectations:
Candidates must complete a criminal background check (CBC), drug screening (DS), and lab work within 72 hours of job offer acceptance.
