School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse; LPN Olathe, Kansas

Your expertise as an LPN will contribute to the overall health, safety, and well-being of students and staff alike.

• Current, active LPN or LVN license, valid for practice in Kansas
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Familiarity with individualized healthcare plans (IHPs)
• Competence in basic first aid, medication administration, and documentation
• Compassionate approach to working with children and adolescents
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents

• Administer first aid and routine medical care for students and staff on campus
• Manage and dispense prescribed medications per physicians orders and district guidelines
• Monitor students with chronic medical conditions and provide appropriate care
• Assist with development and implementation of health plans for students with special needs
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate updates with relevant parties
• Respond promptly in emergency situations, following proper protocols
• Engage in health screenings and wellness education as needed
