Registered Nurse; RN; Cardiac Telemetry | Nights + Differentials

Job Description

Summary: We are hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time permanent Cardiac Telemetry opportunity in Olathe, KS. This position is ideal for an RN with cardiac, telemetry, acute-care or hospital experience who is looking for a permanent night-shift opportunity with competitive pay and differentials.

Position Details:

• Shift: Nights
• Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Weekend: Every 3rd weekend - Saturday & Sunday
• On-Call: None
• Holidays: Required
• Pay: $28-$40/hr

• Evening Differential: +$3.50/hr
• Night Differential: +$5.00/hr
• Weekend Differential: +$2.25/hr

Patient Population

The cardiac telemetry units care primarily for:

• Acute cardiac patients
• Patients following invasive cardiac procedures
• Chest pain
• Sepsis
• ETOH withdrawal
• COVID
• Tikosyn and Sotalol initiation/titration
• Other acute illnesses

Nurse-to-patient ratio: approximately 1:5, with 1-2 patient care techs depending on census and acuity.

Requirements

• 1 year of hospital RN experience required
• BSN preferred
• ADN accepted with willingness to obtain BSN within 5 years
• Kansas RN license required
• ACLS & BLS required
• TR Band experience required
• Cardiac/Telemetry experience strongly preferred
