Kennel Assistant/Technician Assistant - Olathe, KS

Heritage Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Kennel Assistant/Technician’s Assistant to join our dedicated team. The position is physically demanding, with a majority of time spent standing. Must be able to lift or carry objects up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and reaching are required.

Location:

animal hospital clinical setting. Exposure to animal dander, fluids, and noise. Hazardous materials are used in the practice.

• Wash and dry all laundry; keep smocks, lab coats, scrubs, and linens organized.
• Restock towels and blankets as needed.
• Keep kennel areas clean at all times.
• Clean up garbage, waste, and debris from parking areas and around the hospital, including patient enclosures.
• Clean any areas of the hospital that have become soiled.
• Work on Cleaning Checklist, weekly and monthly.
• Giving medications.
• Assisting technicians.
