Position: Production Quality Engineer (Radars)

The Production Quality Enginee
r supports Radar manufacturing operations by driving quality performance, leading structured problem‑solving activities, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This role serves as the primary quality liaison within the Production Center and plays a key role in continuous improvement initiatives

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and facilitate structured problem‑solving activities (PPS / 8D) with cross‑functional teams to address production quality issues
  • Own defect reporting, analysis, and resolution, including root cause identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality‑related topics within the Production Center
  • Monitor, analyze, and report key quality performance indicators (KPIs), including
  • Rework First Pass Yield (FPY)
    Daily, weekly, and monthly scrap levels
  • Prepare and present quality performance data, trends, risks, and improvement actions to management.
  • Participate in Production Center project milestones, ensuring quality requirements and deliverables are met.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects, waste, and variation in production processes
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of problem‑solving methodologies such as 8D and Practical Problem Solving (PPS).
  • Strong understanding of quality tools and methodologies, including:
    Control Plans Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including:5S workplace organization
  • Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality management system.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
