Position Title:

Quality Specialist
Wage: $22.00-$26.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours:

7:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Location:

Olathe, KS

Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual inspections of parts and panels to determine acceptability based on established standards
  • Identify, document, and track rejected or non-conforming parts
  • Utilize inventory tracking systems to identify defective inventory and print tags as needed
  • Communicate quality concerns and part defects with Line Leaders, Paint Leads, and production personnel
  • Assist with production line tasks as needed, including removing masking and supporting operational requirements
  • Perform paint testing and validation on parts and panels
  • Accurately collect, analyze, and present quality data
  • Read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and quality documentation
  • Adapt to changing customer requirements, production priorities, and business needs
  • Maintain testing equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
  • Safely operate hand and power tools as required
  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear designated personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
  • Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and specifications
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Preferred proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Preferred strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Preferred problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Preferred experience with quality control processes and inspection techniques
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work under production deadlines and changing priorities
