We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Control Technician to ensure product compliance and maintain documentation control. You will gain proficiency in all testing areas, document testing results, and determine the aesthetic quality of finished products. Your role is crucial in upholding consistency for training tasks in Master Control and maintaining SOP criteria for inspection and testing.
Responsibilities- Maintain and review product compliance specifications and documentation.
- Gain proficiency in all testing areas and document testing results.
- Determine aesthetic quality on finished products.
- Ensure SOP criteria for inspection and testing are met.
- Responsible for maintaining department equipment and ordering consumable stock supplies when necessary.
- Exercise GMP and GLP compliance in the work environment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement program within the department.
- Assist in maintaining standards in accordance with GMP's/SOP's and ISO regulations.
- Quality control and microbiology expertise.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in related QC/QA, microbiology laboratory work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations for medical devices.
- Ability to manage tasks in an organized manner.
- Intermediate computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as SAP.
Skills & Qualifications
- Laboratory experience in a biological sciences laboratory preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Adaptability to learn new procedures and maintain a scientific approach.
- Availability to work alternate shifts when needed.
- Professional workplace attitude.
- Self-motivation, responsibility, and a strong teamwork spirit.
This position operates in a laboratory environment with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The role requires adherence to safety requirements and procedures, and a professional workplace attitude is essential.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Lenexa, KS.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
