Position SummaryThe Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining store inventory integrity, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time. The role typically requires 20–30 hours per week, depending on store location, and involves consistent customer service and support across store operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Ensure purchase orders are properly received from Ace and non‑Ace vendors.
- Report inventory discrepancies such as over/short and damage from orders received.
- Work with the freight captain to ensure proper receiving and replenishment upon arrival at the store.
- Research and resolve all outs by scanning locations with a mobile device, determining cause, and following correct processes.
- Utilize Mango reports, programs, and daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Follow defective merchandise procedures to ensure credits are received.
- Maintain on‑hand integrity by reviewing discrepancies, determining causes, and adjusting counts after research.
- Maintain oversight of price changes, location codes, inventory levels, and adjustments.
- Coordinate store preparation for periodic full‑store physical inventories.
- Participate in all Inventory Coordinator training and share knowledge with other associates.
- Collaborate with Store Support Center departments to enforce inventory controls.
- Partner with management to report and find solutions for inventory concerns.
- Complete any additional inventory functions as assigned by management.

• Ability to work independently and on a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑starter with strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to research and identify root causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Retail store experience preferred.
$15–$16 per hour.
