Position Summary

The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a unique hybrid role that blends customer service, sales, and basic vehicle service tasks. The SST helps customers by assessing needs, recommending products or services, and performing entry‑level vehicle services. Successful individuals learn all aspects of store operations and flex between front‑shop duties and back‑shop maintenance.
Pay Range: $16.00 – $23.90

Responsibilities
  • 40% – Customer service, sales, and customer issue resolution.
  • 30% – Basic vehicle service tasks (oil changes, tires, fluids).
  • 30% – Store operations including opening/closing, inventory, displays.
  • Assist or act as Manager‑On‑Duty when required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid automobile driver’s license.
  • Customer‑service oriented with a growth mindset.
  • Ability to learn basic vehicle service tasks and store systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two‑year degree or non‑traditional education completed via training, certification or similar program.
  • Previous consumer retail sales experience.
  • Previous automotive experience is a plus.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience is a plus.
