Job Overview
Join a rapidly growing organization with a strong, team‑focused culture as our next Business Development Representative
. In this role, you’ll help drive company growth by identifying potential clients, conducting outbound outreach, and setting qualified appointments for the sales team. The team is located in Lenexa, KS, with an upcoming move to a new office on State Line Rd in Missouri.
Competitive hourly rate of $21.00 – $25.00/hr plus monthly bonuses and commissions averaging $900 per month. Earnings include $40 for every qualified appointment set and 5% commission on closed sales originating from your appointments, with the average sale totaling $2,800.
Responsibilities- Identify and evaluate businesses within assigned territories that may benefit from our service solutions.
- Complete 100+ high‑quality outbound activities per day (calls, emails, Linked In outreach) to build interest and secure qualified appointments.
- Schedule, confirm, and document appointments to ensure a smooth transition to the appropriate sales representative.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of all communication and activity within the CRM.
- Work closely with local operators or managers to review progress, refine outreach strategies, and ensure consistent messaging.
- Share feedback from prospects, common objections, and emerging trends with leadership to support continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, or Dynamics.
- Strong customer‑support and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience in sales, inside sales, or lead generation.
- 1–3 years of experience in a corporate or professional office environment.
- Experience with outbound B2B outreach is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS. This is a fully onsite position.
