Rental Sales Rep

Overview

Are you a motivated and results‑driven individual who excels at building and maintaining customer relationships? We have an exciting opportunity for you as an Outside Sales Representative – Equipment Rental. In this role at Foley Equipment you will create, grow, and maintain relationships with our valued customers while strategically expanding market share in your assigned territory.

• Strategically manage and maximize sales opportunities through direct customer interaction.
• Deliver industry‑leading customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Analyze customer needs and provide expert guidance on equipment selection.
• Help customers identify equipment specifications to meet their unique requirements.
• Consult with customers to answer inquiries and resolve concerns.
• Effectively manage customer relationship management (CRM) software to track and nurture interactions.
• Travel as required for training or to support other locations.

• Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers and build long‑term relationships based on trust and mutual benefit.
• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to initiate engaging conversations.
• Previous experience in outside sales, demonstrating a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in written form, enabling effective interaction with customers.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to drive.

• Previous rental sales experience, specifically in the construction industry.
• In‑depth knowledge of the construction industry, including equipment and various phases of job sites.
• Hands‑on experience in the construction industry, providing you with a deeper understanding of customer needs.
• Bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English.
