Responsibilities
  • Meet decision makers to promote the purchase of our commercial doors and related products.
  • Communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and solve problems through consultative sales.
  • Cultivate sales with commercial and industrial building owners, hospitals, colleges, K‑12 schools, and municipalities in and around Olathe.
  • Achieve or exceed sales and gross‑profit performance standards.
  • Provide timely, accurate estimates and proposals.
  • Assess customers’ needs and sell technical and mechanical goods and services.
  • Develop scope of work for each proposal and manage the process from initial call through closing.
  • Follow up quickly to close projects and participate in project management as needed.
  • Maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) daily.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) years of outside sales experience.
  • Familiarity with technical applications and mechanical systems.
  • Experience reading blueprints, plans, and specifications preferred.
  • Outgoing personality and strong customer‑service orientation.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Other duties as assigned.
