Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in De Soto, KS – Position Type:
Full Time – Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour –
Job Schedule:
Thursday (06:45 AM – 03:15 PM), Friday (06:45 AM – 03:15 PM), Saturday (06:45 AM – 03:15 PM), Sunday (06:45 AM – 03:15 PM).
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a dynamic technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing observations with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed, and help to manage visitor processing, deliveries, and after-hours access requests in accordance with site policies.
- Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance issues, potential hazards, and/or policy violations, while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication with staff and guests.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
