Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist

Pay Rate: $25.06 / Hour

Job Schedule: Monday: 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM, Sunday: 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions, and assist with visitor processing in accordance with site protocols and security-related requirements.
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior that could impact personnel, property, or business activity.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
