Security Officer

Securitas is seeking Security Officers to protect people, property, and assets at client sites in the Other Services sector. In this on-site role, you will control access, conduct patrols, monitor CCTV and alarms, and respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism and vigilance. Officers observe and report safety or security concerns, document incidents, and provide courteous customer service to employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Control access to client facilities and verify identification
• Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of buildings and grounds
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and security systems
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents per post orders
• Observe, report, and document incidents in detailed logs and reports
• Provide professional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors
• Enforce site rules, policies, and safety procedures
• Communicate clearly via radio, phone, and written reports
• Collaborate with supervisors, clients, and public safety agencies as needed
• Participate in required training and maintain required licenses/certifications
