Pest Control Technician

Job Description

In a Pest Control Technician position, you will have a daily route where you will treat customers' homes with various pest control treatments, techniques, and inspections. You will strive to solve customers' pest concerns while exemplifying excellent customer service, maintaining customer relationships, and providing strategic recommendations. • Wage comparable to $30 - $35 / hour (base pay + servicing commissions + sales commissions + monthly bonuses)
• Paid training at $18 / hour

• Once training is completed, you receive a company vehicle and fuel card to take home, plus either a company cell phone or bi‑monthly reimbursement.

• Treat approximately 12 to 14 homes per day.
• Routes are created daily and consist of the same customers to build relationships.
• Conduct thorough inspections to find points of entry for insects and rodents, identify infestations, and develop treatment plans.
• Communicate findings, treatment plans, preventative measures, and additional services to customers.
• Occasionally attend meetings, training, and restocking at the warehouse in Merriam, KS.

• 6+ months of home‑visit technician experience
• 6+ months of sales experience
• 6+ months of customer service experience
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Previous experience in pest control, HVAC, solar, internet, cable, independent route, face‑to‑face customer service, or other in‑home technician roles is strongly encouraged.

• Must be 18 or over.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be clean‑shaven for safety purposes (may occasionally wear a respirator).
• Must be comfortable going into crawl spaces and attics.
