Position Details
Standard schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Additional overtime, stand-by, and call-out are required.
Location: Olathe, Kansas. Residency requirement applies.
Hourly Pay Range: $23.75 - $30.75 based upon experience.
Title: Construction Operator 1, 2, or Sr Construction Operator, based upon experience.

Primary DutiesEducational/Experience Level
- Requires a general educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Requires valid driver's license in accordance with Company standards.
Certificates, Licenses, and Training
- Completes assigned classes, Operator Qualifications (OQ) and on-the-job training (OJT) specific to the Construction Learning Path.
- Obtains and maintains position Operator Qualifications (OQs) and required classroom training or certifications for the position.
Computer Skills
- Uses the Company's internet/intranet website and available resources for data entry, reference, and retrieval tasks.
Communication Skills
- Communicates with internal and external customers to obtain and/or provide basic factual information.
Work Conditions
- Works outdoors in all types of weather and may be exposed to extremes of climate, temperature, high noise levels, rough terrain, and occasional work on ladders, roofs, attics, and under houses as well as confined spaces.
- May require overnight travel.
- May have residence requirement due to call-out response time.
- Works as an individual contributor and/or as part of a team.

- As a safety-sensitive position, pre- and post-employment screenings, including drug testing per Department of Transportation and Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration regulations, and motor vehicle record background checks are required.
