Schedule:
Monday-Friday
Pay: $24-$25 per hour
Location:
Olathe, KS 66062
We're looking for a skilled, dependable Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance operations and ensure our community stays safe, functional, and well‑maintained. If you have maintenance experience and hold a relevant certification (EPA, HVAC, CPO, or similar), we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
* Complete work orders, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks
* Assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance troubleshooting
* Perform unit turns, including painting, minor repairs, and cleaning
* Support the Maintenance Supervisor with special projects and inspections
* Maintain grounds, common areas, and equipment rooms
* Respond to resident maintenance requests with professionalism and urgency
* Participate in on‑call rotation as needed
* Ensure safety standards and compliance procedures are followed
What You Bring
* Maintenance certification required (EPA Type I/II, HVAC, CPO, or equivalent)
* Experience in apartment or facility maintenance preferred
* Strong understanding of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
* Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
* Strong communication and customer service skills
