Overhead Door Company of Kansas City™, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is hiring a Locksmith
. This position is for someone who is detail oriented, great with math, and able to perform basic repairs related to hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware.
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs related to hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware
- Engrave material and package for shipping
- Read production codes
- Cut and issue new keys on key cut machines including high security systems:
Schlage, Medeco, and Best - Operate a variety of equipment and machines, including key duplicating equipment and various hand or power tools
- Reasonable knowledge of all types of locks, fastening devices and related hardware
- Physical ability to lift 100 pounds independently; ability to bend, climb, and stand for extended periods
- Experience with master key systems is a plus
- Possess a valid driver's license
